Annd old drawings, plus STAR TREK

Here's some old and new drawings, to keep you occupied.
Here are the "flats" for a project at work. I liked the way this early version looked, cold or not.
My friend Tom made us a mnemonic  to help with a reoccurring personal problem in identifying crustaceans:
And finally, news for you: I am in a play!
I play Uhura in Star Trek in the Park!
Check out the blog or facebook for updates and information.

I made the drawing and Sean colored it for the poster with appropriate vividness.

It'll be at Dr. Blanche Lavizzo Park at 2100 Jackson St and Yesler in Seattle on
I hope to see you there!
Saturday, July 31 and August 7 at 7pm; Sunday, August 1 and 8 at 2 pm.

Old drawing dump

Here's some things I drew a long time ago.
My aunt's house. (Crappy Scan--crappy scanner)

"Open House" for an ad.
Vampire "Not too goulish" for an ad, red and letters for fun afterwards.
Because isn't hypnotism what vampires you to lull their victims into compliance? Not so! hypnotism is useful.

Giant blue man--I DID THAT

So one reason I was busy all through April was my gig painting a man for a play. The Burien Little Theatre staged a very engaging rendition of Bleacher Bums, for which my rule that I AM IN CHARGE OF ALL FONTS OR LETTERING obliged me to show up three times a week and make men turn blue. Adrian Moynihan, pictured here, very patiently allowed me to paint his entire torso before bounding off to play a loud, effervescent Cubs fanatic. I got pretty good at it by the end, there. So did Adrian.

I will paint all your men. Gladly.

Bleacher Bums was excellent, and I usually hate all plays, so you know it was impressive.

Hood thong

I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I am the busiest of all weasel-fearing beavers.
Today, I show you the greatest of all inventions, the hood thong. Created in December in secret as a secret santa present for my coworker Matt because he said he wanted one. Don't tell him it was me. Here modeled by my brother, who doesn't fit it, and who is inappropriately clothed.

Orange stretch velour, bedazzler.
DO YOU WANT ONE TOO NOW? I CAN SEE YOU DO. Right there. in your eye.
